Dedication to my grand daughter Camille

Dr. Marcel J. Lajoy • Aug 02, 2022

This site is dedicated to my grand daughter Camille and all those who would like to know more about the world.

The goal of this Post is to provide my granddaughter with opened letters that she can read and upon which she can reflect at her leisure. The inspiration for the format comes from the letters of Madame Sevigny and the Essays of Montaigne. For many years, Madame de Sevigny and her daughter corresponded. Their letters are considered a treasure of French Literature. Montaigne in his Essays focuses on Greek and Roman writers. First, he summarized their letters and then, provided his own criticism. In this post however, a quote from a famous writer is usually the statement for the day.
